Feel calm, confident, and ready to breastfeed—before your baby arrives.

Led by internationally certified lactation consultant and neonatal nurse Kate Bird (IBCLC), this live 60-minute workshop is designed to take the stress and guesswork out of breastfeeding. With only limited spots per session, you’ll get personalised support in a safe, relaxed setting.

Whether it’s your first baby or you’re looking for a better feeding experience this time around, this class is your go-to guide for starting strong.

Is it right for me?

I bet you have been thinking

I want to breastfeed, but I have no idea where to start

That’s exactly why this class exists. We’ll take you from “I hope I can do this” to “I know what to expect and how to manage it”—without the overwhelm.

What actually happens with breastfeeding in the first 48 hours?

Great question—and one that most antenatal classes skip. We break down the early hours post-birth, feeding cues, cluster feeding, colostrum, and how to get off to the best start.

What if I can’t tell if my baby is getting enough milk?

This fear is so common—and so valid. We’ll cover exactly what to look for (nappies, behaviours, weight, supply signs) and when to get help.

Everyone talks about supply, but how do I actually manage it?

You’ll learn how supply works, how to protect it, and what to do if you’re worried it’s too low—or too much. Plus: how to recognise what’s normal vs. what needs support.

I’m scared of it being painful or just… not working.

Breastfeeding can come with challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. We’ll talk about common issues (like latch pain, engorgement, cracked nipples), how to manage them, and when to reach out for help.

Why I Created This Live Class

Because I kept hearing the same thing, over and over again:

“I wish someone had told me this before I gave birth.”

As a neonatal nurse and IBCLC, I’ve supported hundreds of families in those raw, tender first days—and I’ve seen just how many challenges can be avoided with the right preparation and support.

Most antenatal classes barely scratch the surface of breastfeeding. They might tell you that breastfeeding is natural, but not how to do it, what to expect, or what to do when it feels hard. And once the baby is here, you’re often too tired or overwhelmed to figure it all out on your own.

let's do this
  • 💛 You deserve to feel prepared before your baby arrives

  • 💛 You shouldn’t have to Google your way through feeding

  • 💛 You deserve evidence-based guidance from someone who’s walked this path with hundreds of families

  • 💛 You should have the confidence to advocate for the support you need

  • 💛 You deserve to have a PAIN FREE breastfeeding experience

  • 💛 And you should always feel safe to ask questions without judgment

This workshop is everything I wish every parent knew before they started breastfeeding.

It’s gentle. It’s practical. It’s live, so you can ask what you need to know.

And it’s here to help you start strong.
